Dewatering bags

Dewatering device made of a hydrophobic material (mostly polypropylene), which works on a fully simple principle. Before dewatering, sludge is preliminary treated by means of polymeric flocculants, and then filled in bags, from which water flows out by gravity.  Rainwater does not penetrate in the bag. The advantage of the bags is sedimentation of the dewatered sludge in the distribution packages where sludge is dried another one to two months.

For plants, which fully use sludge dewatering equipment like decanter centrifuges, this is needlessly arduous technology. By its character, the dewatering bags are rather suitable for reserve capacities.
